Resort Fee
La Bahia Hotel & Spa charges a nightly resort fee of $45 which includes hot/cold towel service and welcome beverage upon check-in, Guestrooms are offering Nespresso Vertuo coffee, assorted teas, complimentary wine, variety of beverages and local snacks, daily bottled water, unlimited Wi-Fi access in guestrooms and public areas, nightly turndown with amenity, morning coffee in the lobby, and 24-hour fitness room. This resort fee is taxable at 12% and is not in itself a tax. The total resort fee inclusive of tax is $50.40. Resort fee is a standard charge and subject to change.
Valet Parking
A $50.00 nightly parking fee applies. Parking is taxable at 12% and is not in itself a tax. Parking fee is a standard charge and subject to change.
Guest Room Etiquette
For the comfort of all, guests are asked to honor the following:
- Excessive noise in guest rooms is subject to removal from property
- Damaged property is subject to applicable charge
- No outside catering is allowed into guest rooms without a La Bahia Hotel & Spa catering contract
- For safety reasons, no lit candles, active flames, or cooking appliances are allowed at any time
- Quiet Hours are between 10PM and 8AM

Cancellation Policy
We require 72-hour advance notice prior to arrival in order to change or cancel your reservation and avoid a charge of one night’s room and tax.

- Any reservation booked with an invalid credit card will not be honored and the resort assumes no responsibility for inaccurate information.
- All rates are for single or double occupancy unless specified otherwise.
- Additional guests can be added to double queen occupancy at additional $100.00 per person.

Spa Services
- The Spa at La Bahia has a total of four (4) indoor and (4) outdoor treatment rooms and is open daily from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
- The spa is equipped with his/hers steam room and outdoor sauna
- A credit card is required for all appointments. No shows or cancellations received within 24 hours of a scheduled spa or salon appointment will be charged 100% of the service price.
- For your convenience, a 20% service charge which includes gratuities for the spa therapists and support team, will be added to all services. This charge is not mandatory and we welcome you to adjust to your discretion.
- To ensure a calm and relaxing environment, audible cell phone use is not permitted. Spa experiences are sacred, we ask that you please respect our quiet atmosphere. Smoking is not permitted.
- Spa guests must be 18 years or older to enjoy our services, warming pool and facilities.
Pool
Our outdoor pool is heated and accessible year-round. Relax in our hot tub or in one of our lounge chairs (available on a first come, first served basis). Learn More

Our Fitness Center is located on the 3rd Floor and open for our hotel guests 24 hours/7 days a week. We also encourage you to get out and explore the natural beauty Monterey Bay has to offer with nearby running and hiking trails not far from the resort. Learn More
Smoking
- The resort is a non-smoking property (including e-cigarettes, vaping machines, etc.) and all guestrooms, patios, balconies and public areas are designed as such. Smoking is only permitted in the designated smoking area.
- A $450.00 fee will be applied to the room bill if smoking occurs in or around guestrooms.
Group Reservations
Five rooms or more is considered a group and must be booked through our Sales department. Groups are subject to the terms of a contract including cancellation policy and performance requirements. In the event that a group of rooms are booked as individual reservations, the resort reserves the right to require the block of rooms to be subject to the terms and conditions of a contract.
Package Handling Policy
There is a package handling fee for all incoming and outbound packages. Please contact the hotel directly for the exact fee.
Photography Policy
Non-professional photography and filming is permitted on the hotel premises for registered hotel guests only. Professional photography is not permitted.
Please contact front desk to use any area of the hotel as a location for commercial photo-shoots and filming. Fees apply. Wedding photography is reserved exclusive to couples with a contracted wedding celebration at the resort.
